Shine Together

Shine Together is a worker-owned house-cleaning cooperative in Lynn, launched in 2021 by a group of immigrant leaders from the Essex County Community Organization, and it says so plainly: a Latinx woman-owned co-op doing residential cleaning and small commercial jobs on recurring or one-time schedules. Reviewers name Cesia and Blanca as the team leads. The written record is small — nine Google reviews from 2024 and early 2025, averaging 4.9 — but consistent. A homeowner in September 2024 said the house had never been this clean in the 21 years they had lived there; another that October described letting the team in, heading to work, and coming home to a locked-up, clean house. A first-time customer in June 2024 noted a professional scheduling and payment system and a crew that fit a last-minute first visit outside their usual area. A January 2025 reviewer mentioned communicating through a translation app since the cleaners speak Spanish. On r/northshore this July a commenter said they hired the co-op for both a move-out and a move-in clean and called them the best. Several customers say part of the appeal is supporting a worker-owned cooperative. If you want a recurring cleaner on the North Shore, ask whether they cover your town and how scheduling and payment work — and expect to communicate in Spanish or through an app.
