An $800 deposit dispute is the main concern raised in a January 2026 Angi review of Signature Masonry Inc. The customer said they hired the company to repair a chimney, delayed the work, then decided against it. They described the deposit as refundable and said the company stopped responding without returning it. BBB gives the company a C+ grade and lists one complaint. Older customers described completed work they were pleased with. In an August 2018 Angi review, a customer said Signature rebuilt a chimney while Dave Lane Building and Remodeling handled roof repairs and replacement. Signature showed them brick options, and the customer praised the finished chimney's appearance. A June 2018 reviewer also praised the price and said the company completed urgently needed work. A June 2023 Angi reviewer described a large asphalt driveway project. They credited salesman Jacob Q. with a price they liked and an accurate timeline, then said the crew arrived on time and finished in less than a day. Angi's four ratings average 4.0 stars, with three five-star ratings and one one-star rating. Its service listing includes masonry repairs, retaining walls and concrete work.
If I could review and give 0 stars I would! This business cheated us out of our $800 deposit. We hired Signature to repair our chimney but when we delayed the work and then ultimately decided not to do the work, they ghosted us and did not return our refundable deposit. DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS.
Salesman Jacob Q. offered a very good price to redo my large asphalt driveway as well as providing a very accurate timeline. The Signature crew arrived on time and completed the project in less than a day. They were very courteous and efficient.
Masonry work was outstanding. Signature Masonry came out and worked flawlessly with Dave Lane Building and Remodeling who was doing a repair and replacement on our roof. They came out and showed us a whole bunch of brick options and ultimately rebuilt our chimney so it looks fantastic from the street. Unfortunately for Signature Masonry.... nobody comes down our street! Really you can't do any better than Signature (and also Dave Lane's operation who both work in concert regularly). I might give Signature a call and see if they do outdoor brick ovens...
From start to finish this company was amazing. Very professional and a great price. They helped me out in a pinch. I needed the work done right away and they pulled it off for me! I’d highly recommend them!!!! Awesome work!!!
Do not hire this mason! We paid this mason $800 deposit for work that was never completed and the deposit was never returned.
