It was co-founded by Matt Connelly, who handles operations, estimates, and construction oversight, and Brendan McCarthy, an arborist who leads pruning, tree health work, and pest management; a landscape architect registered in both Massachusetts and Maine, Kara Lam, is on staff for design work — concept plans through construction sets and 3D renderings. Its Google rating runs a perfect 5 stars, but the sample is small — just two ratings, with one written review on file dating back to 2024. That's not enough of a track record yet to say much about consistency or how the company handles a tough job; there simply isn't more history to weigh it against. What is clear is the range: this isn't a one-crew mow-and-blow outfit but a team split across design (concept plans through 3D renderings), living plant material (annuals through green-roof and pond planting), tree work (health assessments, pruning, removal, relocation), and even custom fabrication of outdoor furniture and trellis systems. Worth asking directly which of the three would actually run your project, since design, arboriculture, and construction are fairly distinct skill sets even inside one company. Skyline is a reasonable call for a homeowner who wants one team to both design and build a yard rather than hiring a landscape architect and an installer separately, or who has tree work bundled into a bigger landscape project. Given how few outside reviews are in yet, it's worth asking for references or recent project photos before committing to a large design-build job.
