Soares Masonry says on its website that it does both commercial and residential masonry, from privacy walls and retaining walls to stone work, and that it has been in business 20 years. Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+, and it holds 4 stars from 8 Google ratings. In a 2021 BuildZoom review, a customer said Andre fixed a couple of steps on their back patio that were "absolutely awful from the previous contractor" they had hired. That 2021 customer said Andre and his team were on time, cleaned up their work area and communicated what was going on. A 2017 BuildZoom customer said the outside steps were done OK but the hand railings were not installed and were still missing, and that the company did not respond to calls.
Andre and his team are fantastic! If I could rate this with more than 5 stars I absolutely would. My family has worked with Andre many times over the years. Recently, Andre fixed a couple of steps on my back patio that were absolutely awful from the previous contractor we hired. Not only was Andre very responsive, but he and his team were VERY professional, on time, cleaned up their work area, communicated what was going on, and made a complete transformation to my patio. I HIGHLY recommend Soares Masonry and will not use any other company again. Thank you guys!
I would NOT recommend this mason. Did outside steps OK but failed to install hand railings . Did not respond to calls. Hand railings still missing.
