That pace, and the owner's name, run through nearly everything customers write about Solis Masonry Construction. The company works out of Salem and says it has been in masonry for 21 years. Its own list of towns covers the North Shore and a wide arc inland — Swampscott, Lynnfield, Danvers, Saugus, Gloucester, Melrose, Wakefield, Burlington, Milton and Winthrop. The work is hardscape and repair masonry: patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps and stair treads, repointing, chimney and basement repair, concrete block and stucco. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and recorded to the company's own name. What customers describe is granular. In a May 2026 review, one listed a replaced stair tread on the rear stairs, repointed front stairs, repaired side steps, rear patio and walkway, and a widened driveway opening — everything, they wrote, looked newly installed. But it does mean there is little older history to check the recent burst against. The tenure claims also differ — 21 years on its own site, 16 years of experience on its Angi listing. A good fit for stairs, patios, walkways and retaining walls on the North Shore, especially if you want a quick estimate from the owner. Confirm the registration when you sign, get the scope and cleanup in writing, and ask which of the jobs in the reviews most resembles yours.
