- A manicured meadow — a 2023 customer said Brett helped create one
- Repeat design work — a 2023 customer called Brett first for another area
Sophia Design is a landscape design business that says it has been in business for 10 years and offers free estimates. A 2023 reviewer, a friend of Brett Price, called it his new landscape design company and credited it with helping get a deck ready for summer. A 2023 customer said Brett designed a pollinator and butterfly-friendly garden that relies heavily on native plants while keeping the cultivated, intentional look they wanted. A 2023 customer said that after their own meadow attempt failed, Brett helped create a small manicured meadow on the property. That 2023 customer wrote that a first try from seed had limited success, plugs were added, and after one rainy season the meadow looked like it had always been there. A 2023 customer said they had worked with Brett and his team for several years, and that he was the first person they called when it came time to design another area of the garden.

I struggled with lawn grubs, didn’t want to use chemicals and began a meadow design on my own which failed. Brett came in with knowledge and design experience to help me create a beautiful small manicured meadow on my property. We tried again creating a meadow from seed with limited success and added plugs. In just one wonderfully rainy season the meadow looks like it’s always been there. Pollinators are always buzzing around and the flowers look great.

I'm so glad we found Sophia Design! I had been looking for someone who understood my goal of creating a pollinator and butterfly-friendly garden with an emphasis on native plants, but a landscape that didn't look "wild" per se. I wanted a cultivated look. Brett hit the nail on the head, designing a garden that relies heavily on native plants but results in a design that is beautiful and intentional-looking. Brett and his team are passionate about plants and the wildlife they support - and truly appreciate the beauty and pleasure a garden can bring into your life. If you are looking for a garden that benefits both you and the wildlife that surrounds you, look no further.

I have worked with Brett and his team for several years and am always very pleased with their work. He is professional, responsive, communicative and creative. Year over year I have come to rely on him and don’t know what I would do without him to help me with my garden. When it came time to expand, and design another area, he was the first person I called and his concept design was perfect!! Looking forward to seeing another beautiful installation.
