South Britain Oil says on its website that for over 20 years it has provided families in the Greater Southbury Area with home heating oil, air conditioning, heating and plumbing services. In a 2022 review, someone who was not yet a customer said Sandy sent a technician out the same day to diagnose a problem with their furnace. A 2024 customer said the company was very quick to respond to maintenance and delivery requests. It holds 4.1 stars from 10 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the BBB. In a 2023 review, a customer called the people very rude and said the call was hung up with an "oh my god" in the background.
I’ve received excellent service and recommendations from South Britain Oil. They have also been very quick to respond to maintenance and delivery requests.
Very rude people!, when you ask a question they answer as if they are doing a paying customer a favor. also hung up the phone with a 'oh my god' in the background.
What a great company! I was not even a customer yet Sandy did not hesitate to send a technician out the same day to diagnose a problem with my furnace. The tech was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Excellent customer service! They will be my first call in the future.
Yesterday I made a phone call and left a message explaining my problem with my furnace. Shortly thereafter received a call back letting me know they could service my problem. They are extremely professional and experienced masters of their trade. They fixed my problem and I feel confident that “It is done right once” is ingrained in there work ethic. Thank you and I will be using and recommending your services in the future.
