A recent customer said Wyatesia at Rural Fuels helped them set up a new oil account and arrange their first delivery, after they had contacted several other oil companies. The company says it has served Connecticut for over 75 years with propane and heating oil delivery, HVAC services and equipment installations, and its website lists a service area that includes Monroe, Trumbull, Shelton, Danbury and Norwalk. A recent customer said Brian came out to evaluate an aging hot water tank, and John and Colin replaced it within a week, with the new piping installed and the remaining valves cleaned up. A recent customer who has their oil delivered by Rural Fuels had a central air unit installed on a day of thunder, lightning and a downpour, and said John Pivarnik and his assistant Colin worked the entire day. For one recent job, three indoor ceiling-mounted air conditioners went in on an upper floor; that customer said they ran outside cover over the conduit and wires and mounted the condenser into the foundation of the house. A recent customer said John was at their house in 30 minutes for a small issue the day after Brian and John installed a new boiler. Kevin Rackliffe installed a capacitor on a recent AC repair, and that customer said the company gave them the capacitor for free. In a 2025 review, a customer whose water heater shut down below freezing said that once the part turned out to be unavailable, the company offered to install a new unit at cost and finished the job the next day. A 2024 customer said Brian quoted two versions of a new boiler, and the old boiler came out and the new one went in the same day. A 2026 customer said they went without heat for three weeks and called many times without a return call. A 2024 customer said the company came without notice, replaced a gas tank that was still full although automatic deliveries had not been requested, and charged for it. A 2023 customer said the scheduling department did not pass along a request to meet face to face with the service technician, while saying the quality of the work was fine.
