Matt has now done two big jobs for me, the first being to rip out the old floor in our 4-car garage and install a new floor, the second being to dig up/expose and waterproof the garage foundation. In both cases, Matt’s pricing was extremely fair, he delivered 100% on his promises, finished the work in a timely manner and left an immaculate job site every day. I really can’t recommend Matt Mello & South Shore Excavation highly enough. To say that Matt and his crew @ South Shore Excavation met my expectations would be an understatement. After interviewing several excavation contractors this past July, prior to beginning my 'new home build' lot's development, I centered in on South Shore pretty quicly because of their initial interest in my project, and, Matt's confidence in knowing what they could accomplish once the project got started. From excavation, to site drainage, utility tie ins and subs, they nailed it at every turn. If your looking for an excavation company that [doesn't] work with consistency, is overpriced, misses schedule deadlines, does minimum to average site work and won't work within your financial budget, then DON'T hire South Coast, because they were at my site ON TIME, CONSISTENTLY worked until the tasks were COMPLETED, considered MY INPUT, finished each day on site and CAREFULLY secured the property, FOLLOWED-UP on every item that was done to ensure there would not be any call backs.....and there weren't! They also came in with a pre-pricing structure that was based on the actual materials & scope of work, without introducing unnecessary add-ons, and then stuck to that 'true pricing schedule' throughout the project..and that's rare! If your in need of an excavation, be smart and get someone who'll make your project a success from the planning right through until completion. Thanks Matt, appreciate what you accomplished. Gerry
