South Shore Mosquito & Tick Control works one job, over and over, for the South Shore and Cape Cod: keeping backyards usable through bug season. Customers hire them for a barrier-spray program against mosquitoes and ticks, most opting for the organic version, and describe the operation — run by Ben and a small crew — as a family-owned, locally run business. The track record is deep: 201 reviews since 2021 across four sources, with Google alone showing 233 ratings at a nearly perfect 5 stars and 83 new reviews in just the last six months, none negative. The history isn't one-off, either — plenty of customers are on their third, fourth, or ninth season. The specifics repeat: yards near woods, marshes, or vernal pools that used to be unusable at dusk now get sat in without a bite. One customer says they haven't seen a single tick since starting service eight years ago; another, in year nine near heavy woods, counts one tick total. When ticks or mosquitoes turn up mid-season anyway, several describe the crew coming back to re-spray rather than waiting for the next scheduled visit. The catch is that almost everything known about this company's reputation comes from one place. BBB lists the business at an A+ grade but shows no customer reviews of its own, and no other review platform surfaced meaningful feedback here — so there's no second independent read to weigh against the Google numbers. For a homeowner near woods, marsh, or standing water who wants a season-long barrier-spray program with an organic option, this is a well-worn, consistently reviewed choice. Worth confirming which spray tier — organic, hybrid, or conventional — fits the property, and how quickly a mid-season reapplication actually gets scheduled.

Four years and running we've used South shore mosquito and tick for our yard and we couldn't be more pleased to keep coming back. Their organic mosquito spray works great and is safe for our yard while they also handle our ant issues as well. For the best service they are the people to call.

We have been using South Shore Mosquito & Tick Control for a couple years and have been very pleased. We were looking for an organic treatment for bugs and ticks because of our dog. The treatments definitely work! Now that the weather is getting warmer we are spending more time outside and we have not seen or gotten bit by any mosquitoes. I would highly recommend South Shore Mosquito & Tick Control.

The crew is great and the customer service is excellent. They keep you informed when they arrive and follow up afterwards. The best part is the spray is nontoxic so safe for birds and critters, and it works!

Ben and his crew are fantastic! We love that he offers eco products since we are on the water. He is quick to respond if we have any issues, as in break thru biting, and treats for fleas as well. Thank you for keeping us itch free!
