In May 2026 a Google reviewer wrote that Andrew and his team at Spaces, LLC replaced their basement LVP flooring after water damage, patched a ceiling damaged by a plumbing leak, and that Andrew worked directly with their insurance agent. In January 2026 a customer of the East Hartford company described a leak inside the walls that ended in mold removal and a new bathroom and kitchen, with Andrew handling the insurer and its estimators and Brandon as the on-site manager. Spaces holds 4.8 stars from 171 Google ratings, and its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0650784, is active under Spaces LLC. In December 2023 Bob and Caryl Donovan wrote that a furnace failure flooded their finished basement; they reached the owner, Andrew Stoddard, at 5:30 pm, he called back within 15 minutes with a crew on the way, and the job ended with new flooring and trim, replaced drywall and painting. In a February 2025 review, a customer who had struggled with an insurance claim described Andrew explaining his estimates in detail and walking the house for a punch list at the end, with Ammon and Oleg doing the hands-on work. A March 2025 customer had three bathrooms remodeled and singled out the tile and glass work. In November 2023 a deck customer wrote that the estimate held with no hidden costs and that Doug, the carpenter, managed the crew and did much of the work himself. A January 2022 reviewer gave four stars for a basement finish framed by Mark in kiln-dried Douglas fir, but described a disconnect between what they asked for at the first visit and what was quoted; Spaces updated the paperwork once alerted. In January 2026 a one-star reviewer wrote that after a good first job, a bigger project brought months without communication and a $4,000 loss because the company "sent a bad design and refused to fix it." In an August 2023 two-star review, a customer praised Doug but wrote that Drew, the project manager, ordered baseboards smaller than the 1930s originals and a toilet $2,000 more expensive for faster delivery despite a stated budget priority, and told them to "paint the damn thing" when they raised the trim. A January 2025 r/Connecticut commenter warned against Spaces LLC, writing that their 2022 remodel of about $18K was "a horrendous experience from start to finish." In July 2026 a customer wrote that they had used Spaces for several projects at their home and vacation home, and a June 2026 reviewer called the company "extremely responsive."
“Whatever you do, do NOT use Spaces LLC. They did our remodel in 2022 (about $18K) and it was a horrendous experience from start to finish.”
I’ve used them for several projects at our home and vacation home. Highly recommend. Professional work and Andrew, the owner? was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
Spaces LLC was extremely responsive and easy to work with. They approached the project with care and took pride in the quality of their work.
I recently hired Andrew and his team at Spaces, LLC for two separate home projects—replacing my basement LVP flooring after water damage and repairing a ceiling patch caused by a plumbing leak—and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the team was professional, meticulous, and truly committed to doing the job right. Andrew went above and beyond by working directly with my insurance agent to make sure I received the best possible outcome as the customer. That level of advocacy is rare and deeply appreciated. Both projects were completed on time, with excellent communication throughout, and the quality of the workmanship speaks for itself. The flooring looks flawless, the ceiling repair blends perfectly, and the plumbing issue was resolved with care and precision. I highly recommend Spaces LLC to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and customer‑focused work. I’ll absolutely be using them again for future projects.
I was extremely happy with the work they were very polite and I would recommend this company to anyone who needs work done and they were also very affordable
We had a broken pipe under our jacuzzi. We had a plumber fix the pipe, but there was a horrible smell that permeated the whole area. Spaces, LLC came in and did a 3-step procedure to get rid of the smell!
