The company says brothers Matt and David Stanwood began the business in summer 2014. Lawn maintenance is part of its stated service mix, alongside landscape management, masonry, landscape construction and snow and ice management. In a November 2024 review, a customer who had used Stanwood for residential property maintenance for several years described Matt and Dave as friendly, prompt and reliable. A December 2024 customer praised a fall leaf cleanup. Another customer writing in June 2022 described several years of service, punctual visits, hard work and lawns left looking the way they wanted. Snow removal drew a detailed endorsement in March 2026. A customer in their first year using Stanwood for that work said Matt, Dave and the team were reliable with plowing, shoveling and sanding, and cleared the driveway and walkways promptly every time. Google lists a 4.7-star average from 15 ratings. An April 2023 customer described a scheduling breakdown around a shed installation. They said they moved the installation date to accommodate the contractor, but Stanwood then refused to commit to the originally agreed timeline. The customer said they had to scramble to find someone else two weeks before the scheduled delivery, and that calls and emails went unanswered. They also described the contractor as unapologetic about failing to meet the commitment.
