Starboard Side Landscaping is a South Dennis landscaping company that has traded on Cape Cod since 1988, run by Jeffrey Eldredge with Laura Eldredge as office manager. The BBB records ten employees and accreditation since 2011, and the business grew up alongside the family's farming operation. What it is credited with is planting and design as much as mowing. Its own site lists landscape maintenance, irrigation, masonry construction and landscape design for residential and commercial clients, and its planting work has been publicly credited by a Cape Cod design-build firm. A May 2025 Google reviewer described "Pleasant staff, good work", and in a May 2023 r/CapeCod thread a commenter said Starboard Side "is Dennis, does some good work". The record also carries a billing complaint that deserves weight because it surfaces twice, from unconnected places, within a month. Replying directly to that same May 2023 Reddit recommendation, another commenter wrote "I've used him Never again. A complete rip-off." In June 2023 a one-star Google reviewer alleged the company "will go over your lawn when it's a inch big just to charge you again" and "will find every excuse to throw on additional charges that were not agreed upon". Separately, a February 2025 one-star reviewer complained not about the work but about road conduct, reporting a company dump truck driving between lanes well over the speed limit.
