State Cleaning Solutions Inc.

State Cleaning Solutions is a Charlton, Massachusetts cleaning company run by Elisangela ("Elisa") Mendes-Giroux, doing residential and commercial house, kitchen, bathroom, window and deep cleaning by appointment. The business describes itself as woman-owned, and while its Better Business Bureau profile lists a start date of February 2022, the company's own website says it was established in 2007 with 17 years in the industry — the two accounts don't agree on how long it's actually been around. Across 22 reviews from 2023 through 2025 — heavily concentrated on Google, plus a couple on BBB — the same details keep showing up: proactive text updates when the crew is on the way, starting, and finishing; a set schedule the team sticks to; and attention paid to easy-to-miss spots. A 2025 review described a "text when they are on their way and when they have completed cleaning," and another from the same year credited the owner, Lisa, with making communication easy. Several reviewers mention using the company for years or on a standing weekly basis, and one Airbnb host who caters to guests with disabilities specifically praised the crew's care around equipment. There's one clear miss in the record: a January 2025 Google review gave one star, calling the visit "terrible" and disputing that what was delivered counted as a deep clean — a sharp outlier against an otherwise five-star pattern. Google shows the company at 4.8 stars from 22 ratings, and its BBB profile carries an A+ grade with accreditation since mid-2024 and no complaints or government actions on file. Before booking, it's worth asking specifically what a "deep clean" covers, given the one review that pushed back on that exact point — and worth noting the founding-year mismatch between the BBB listing and the company's own site if tenure matters to you.
