We had Stephen build and install a large built-in bookshelf/bench in one of the rooms of our house. Could not be happier with the result, it is absolutely beautiful and covered all the custom requirements that we had. The cost was reasonable and Stephen was very communicative from project start to finish. I would go back to him for again for anything in the future. In fact, while the main bookshelf was in progress he did the modifications in our kitchen to fit our new refrigerator which was slightly too large for the space. No one can even tell the original cabinet doors had a section cut out of them in order to shorten them.

Steve previously built our kitchen cabinets and lovely curly maple counters in our 200-year-old house. But that was over 20 years ago, and we have moved to a new location. This time we have less space for our stuff, but we have 10 1/2 ft ceilings. He designed and built to perfection a 10 ft x 10.5 ft set of bookshelves with a rolling ladder. They were prepainted and installed with every detail completed. The finished product is exactly what we envisioned, and Steve made sure that we had all of the dimensions correct. When we gave the go-ahead he responded immediately, delivered on time, and completely. What a delightful experience and such a gorgeous product.

Stephen’s work is extraordinary and I highly recommend him! I have hired him for three different projects and been extremely pleased with all. First off, I can’t thank Stephen enough, my kitchen cabinet / drawer project came out better than I could’ve ever hoped for. I’m sure like most people I probably oversimplified the idea of what I was hoping to achieve. My kitchen cabinets are your basic Home Depot generic two door two drawer base cabinet, that I wanted to remove the two drawers as well as the center and create one large drawer. The new drawer extends all the way to the back with full extension doubling the storage and usability. Stephen not only came through on this project but you can see the quality workmanship in the fabrication of my new drawer. I highly recommend him for your woodworking project needs.
