In an August 2026 Google review, a condo resident wrote that after flood damage two other concrete floor contractors backed out at the last minute, and Scott of Stonecraft Inc., the Buxton, Maine concrete shop, took on restoring the floors. That reviewer wrote that he explained the process and how concrete behaves, showed up when he said he would, did what he promised, and that the floors look beautiful. In June 2026 a Google reviewer wrote about a new concrete pool bar countertop, with Scott suggesting an LED feature for it. Another reviewer that June called Scott professional and responsive and praises the quality of his work and product. In an April 2026 Google review, a homeowner building their own house wrote that they hired Scott for the master bathroom sink countertop and ended up having him do the fireplace hearth as well, and that he was prompt with messaging and with meeting for measurements. In March 2026 a reviewer wrote that Scott made concrete countertops for the reviewer's store in Gorham and that they plan to hire him again. In 2023 a Google reviewer wrote that the company custom built and installed a countertop that came out as ordered and described. The company's own site says it designs concrete pieces for each client and is not interested in making two that are exactly the same.
After extensive flood damage to my condo, I was under tremendous pressure to get my concrete floors restored because nothing else in the renovation could move forward until they were finished. To make matters worse, two other concrete floor contractors backed out at the last minute, leaving me feeling completely defeated. From our very first conversation, I had a feeling I’d found the right person for the job—and Scott proved me right. He went out of his way to help me through a difficult situation and made me feel like my project truly mattered. He was thoughtful, communicative, professional, and genuinely kind from start to finish. Because he was completely transforming the look of my concrete floors—not just repairing them—I was understandably nervous. Scott took the time to explain the process, how concrete behaves, and what I could realistically expect. His knowledge, honesty, and obvious passion for his craft immediately put me at ease. He listened to my concerns, answered every question patiently, and made sure I was happy with the final result. The floors look beautiful, but what I’ll remember just as much is how Scott treated me. In an industry where reliability and communication can be hard to find, he showed up when he said he would, did exactly what he promised, and truly cared about the outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend Scott—not only because of the quality of his work, but because he’s the kind of person you hope to find when you’re trusting someone with your home.
My wife and I are so happy with our new concrete countertop from Stonecraft! Scott is responsive, easy to work with, and extremely talented. He gave us some creative ideas for our pool bar countertop, including an LED feature, it really pops! His workmanship is top notch and his close attention to details exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Scott and Stonecraft Inc!!!
Outstanding customer service from start to finish! Scott was professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. The quality of his work and product are excellent. Highly recommend this company!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I am so pleased with the work that Scott did at my new home. It was a couple years in the making due to us building the house on our own. He was amazing to deal with and he gave me great ideas! I was looking just to have the master bathroom sink /countertop done . I ended up having him do my fireplace hearth as well. When it came time for the job to be done, he was prompt with messaging , meeting me for measurements, getting the job done, installed and we couldn’t be happier. My husband and I highly recommend!!
Scott made some beautiful concrete counter tops for my store in Gorham. He was easy to work with, timely, and a good communicator. We are every satisfied with his work & will be hiring him again
