Paul Immer runs Structures Home Work Living, a Medford, MA general contractor specializing in kitchen and bathroom work. His written reviews, though few, describe a contractor who finds solutions under real constraints — one customer wanted a washer and dryer built into a small master bathroom, and a 2021 review says Paul found a way to make the layout work. The five written reviews on file run from 2012 to 2021 and are uniformly positive: a 2013 review describes a granite countertop, sink, and garbage disposal installed in a single day, and a 2020 review says Paul found design issues in the architect's own plans and helped fix them before a kitchen and bathroom remodel began. More than one reviewer from over a decade ago mentions already having re-hired him for another project. The platform ratings tell an inconsistent story, though. Angi shows this business at an unusual 0.5 stars from 4 ratings, even though the three written Angi reviews on that same profile all describe positive kitchen and bathroom work — the number doesn't match what customers actually wrote. Separately, BuildZoom records two bid interactions averaging 3 stars, one noted for good communication and another where BuildZoom's notes say the company stopped responding to an inquiry — that's about a quote request, not a completed job. Two directories also disagree on how long the company's been around: Houzz says 12 years, Angi says 18. BuildZoom and Houzz both list active Massachusetts contractor licenses for the company — a Construction Supervisor license and a Home Improvement Contractor registration — though these come from the directories rather than a state registry check. For kitchen or bathroom work in the Medford area, Paul's own project reviews — old as some of them are — describe careful, creative work; given the conflicting platform ratings, it's worth asking directly for recent references before booking.

Paul and his crew did a fantastic job transforming our master bathroom. We wanted to include washer/dryer in the bathroom and while the space was limited, Paul found a way to make it work. The crew that worked on our bathroom (Tony, Bobby and Vic) were great and also respectful of the fact that we were working from home. I will let the pictures speak for themselves!
Found Paul and crew to be outstanding; detail oriented, really committed to our vision. Paul worked just as hard as our architect on our plans and found things our architect missed. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful kitchen and bathroom. And easy to work with!!
