Plenty of homeowners around Boston hire Jeff Veglia more than once. A July 2025 reviewer wrote about ten years of projects with his crew, starting with a master bath and ending in a full-house remodel; another, writing the same month, said a major kitchen expansion a few years earlier had been followed by three bathrooms since. A September 2025 customer hired the team for a kitchen and bathroom, liked how it went, and kept going — hardwood floors refinished next. Veglia Remodeling works out of Somerville and, by the company's own account, is owner-operated by Jeff Veglia, tracing back to a 1987 masonry and tile business that became a full-service remodeler in 1995. Its site lists kitchen and bathroom renovations, whole-home renovations, additions and tile work, with a service area covering Boston and towns from Cambridge and Newton out to Gloucester and Newburyport. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Bathrooms are the steady work. A November 2025 reviewer said the crew left the site spotless at the end of each day and kept them posted on which tradesmen were coming on which days; a July 2025 homeowner summed the job up as on time and on budget. The bigger jobs are described in detail too — one July 2025 account walks through a gut renovation of a 3,200-square-foot house covering four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a new kitchen, window replacements, a high-efficiency furnace, hot water heater and high-velocity air conditioning. A January 2026 reviewer had the company renovate a 1928 home in Newton and said Jeff stayed responsive after the job was finished. Google shows 5 stars from 29 ratings; HomeAdvisor carries 4.8 from 266. The history runs back further than the Google page. In a 2016 Houzz review, a homeowner described a demo down to the studs and a rebuild inside a historic Beacon Hill building; a 2019 BuildZoom reviewer said the team picked up a bathroom remodel after a previous contractor's job went wrong. Those Houzz and BuildZoom accounts date from 2016 to 2022. One thing to settle up front is materials. An August 2025 reviewer said the estimate covered the labor on a bathroom remodel and that Jeff pointed them toward vendors to choose materials from; an October 2025 homeowner described being connected with the suppliers for cabinets, tile and counters. That arrangement suits people who want a say in what goes in, but it means the quote and the material budget are two separate numbers. If you want a bathroom or kitchen handled by a crew whose clients keep hiring them back, this is a sensible call. Before signing, get the material split in writing, and ask for the day-by-day trade schedule his reviewers say he provides.
