A raised deck off the kitchen, reached through French doors cut in where a window had been: that is the job a 2020 customer described when Dana, Eric and Matt of Summit Construction & Design gave them exactly what they asked for, with the existing ground deck and stairs worked into the design. That 2020 customer said they came on time each day and cleaned the area before they left each day, and that another contractor's bid was much more money. Its Houzz profile says it is a pre-screened and certified builder with Bangor Savings and Kennebec Savings. In a 2017 review, a customer said Summit added two bedrooms and a bathroom to their home in a timely manner and on budget, with the owner answering their questions. A 2017 customer said their kitchen had just been finished and that he offered ways to save money. A 2017 customer told a harder story: the work was extremely slow, he left one day because of rain, and he had not returned or called in 3 weeks, with texts and calls going unanswered.
If I could put 10 stars to express the gratitude towards completing my project I would. I asked for French doors with screens to cut out a window in my kitchen to go out onto a raised deck. I also had an existing ground deck and stairs that I wanted incorporated into the design. I had a Contemporary design for the banisters and wanted no screws exposed on the floor of the deck. I had another contractor bid the job and he couldnâ t do what I wanted and it was much more money. Dana, Eric and Matt gave me exactly what I wanted! They came on time each day, worked hard while they were here, and cleaned the area before they left each day. Eric completed the project as if it was for himself or his mom! He is very articulate with his craftsmanship. His level of professionalism and accuracy blew my mind. Matt was also hard-working following the instructions of what to do with the scrap wood because I enjoy burning ...to keep the black flies away! I canâ t say enough about this crew of guys... they made my dreams come true with my deck! I love it...as they were putting up the first set of railings I watched from the window with tears streaming from my eyes with total joy of receiving exactly what I asked for and wanted. I highly recommend them and will have them back for future projects!
Great company with excellent customer service. I had two bedrooms and a bathroom added to my home and Summit completed the work in a timely manner and on budget. Any questions I had were answered by the owner.
This is a nice person. But the work was extremely slow. I feel that this man stretched the hourly work as to hold him over until another job. He Left here one day because of rain. Which I totally understand. But he never returned or hasn't called in 3 weeks. I have tried to contact him, but to no avail never returned my texts or calls. He also posted a pic of the little work he has done but not completed. He did not ask to post this picture which I wouldn't mind if he completed the job. I'M very disappointed in someone that led me to believe I could trust. IF you plan on hiring, just be careful.
This is the first time I have had to hire outside of family and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and desire to make things just the way I wanted them at the same time offering ways to save me money. My kitchen has just been finished and it is just beautiful and I will definitely use him again for other projects. I am extremely pleased!
Very Professional, answered all our questions, Knew what they were doing! Will hire them for future projects. Very Happy Customers! :)
