Sundial installs solar panels, home batteries and EV chargers. A recent customer said Nike and Johnathan installed two Powerwall 3 batteries at their home in less than 6 hours. On Reddit, a recent commenter in r/newhampshire said Sundial put in a timber frame carport with a Franklin S battery, an elevated ground mount. The company says it has been in business 11 years. A recent customer said Sundial installed batteries at their house as part of the GMP and that the crew cleaned up when they were done. A 2025 customer described adding panels to a barn as a grid-forming system: lead electrician Ben had a few ideas to work around Enphase's published 64A grid-forming limit, and Sundial created a single line drawing and reviewed it with Enphase. A 2025 customer said Nick installed an 80amp Ford Power Pro charger in under 2 hours. A 2025 customer said Sundial installed an EV charger on a cold day with plenty of snow on the ground, with a challenging wire run from the panel to the charger. A 2024 customer said a tree fell and damaged panels and part of the roof, and that Sundial came to the home immediately to remove the panels so their contractor could complete the roof repair. A 2023 customer said Fuat and his installation team installed a 31 panel, 12 kW rooftop array, and that Fuat kept them informed on delays outside his control. A recent customer said the install team led by Ben Bell did the work in the time he said it would take, but that the project manager never called about the issues raised during the install, and that the company's president answered the list of grievances with "thats kind of your fault" for half of them. A 2026 customer said the Tesla batteries worked when they lost power, but that the installation appointment was cancelled multiple times. A 2025 customer in rural Vermont said installers due between 10 and 2 arrived at 4, though that customer was pleased with the two installers and their work. A 2022 customer said the install came two months after the initial promise date and that there was no communication for weeks after a panel went out.
“Sundial put in a timber frame carport, with a Franklin S battery. The carport is an elevated ground mount that looks nice.”
“I used SunDial, and paid $50k for 50, 425w panels.”
SumDial Solar recently insttalled batteries at our house as part of the GMP. The crew was friendly, conscientious and cleaned up when they were done. They kept us informed during the whole process. Would certainly work with them again
Nike and Johnathan instead two Powerwall 3 batteries at our home, in less than 6 hours. Thank you for the amazing service. Their workmanship was excellent. So happy to get connected with this company. The installation was quick and efficient. Very kind, pleasant, and courteous. Would have them come and work again without a thought. Just amazing!!
Where to begin with this company. I was planning on letting this go, but since they just sent me an email soliciting a review, I suppose I should leave one. We'll start with the only positive. The install team led by Ben Bell was great. Explained things well, showed up when he said he would, and did the work he said he would do in the time he said it would take. Nice guy, and I was happy to work with him. Everything else, a disaster. The communication out of this company is, frankly, terrible. There is a clear disconnect between the sales team, the office team, and the installers. No one talks to anyone. The project manager Javier is the most egregious offender. I was told many times, from multiple people, that he would call me to address the litany of issues that happened during install. Not once did I ever hear from this guy. Not once was I ever proactively kept informed on progress or solutions to problems. When I brought my list of grievances to the president of the company, his response was 'thats kind of your fault' for half of my concerns, and 'well it got done eventually so we did great' for the rest, with a little bit of whataboutism concerning other companies not being as good as his own. I cannot believe he was ultimately satisfied with the way his company performed. And even if he was just pleased with how everything ended (he did get paid after all), just like, show some fake contrition anyway so people don't write negative reviews; this is business 101. I was recommended this company originally, specifically because of their supposed stellar communication, but my experience has been the exact opposite. I have told many people already not to use this company, and if you are considering them, I would recommend finding a different company for your solar needs, as the very amateur level organization at Sundial leaves a lot to be desired. This could have all been chalked up to an overworked staff trying to beat the tax credit buzzer...right up until the president defended all their actions. This shows me that it's a company culture problem, and not an individual issue.
The installation team was fantastic. The Tesla batteries were a game changer the first time we lost power. The system worked so well we didn’t even know we had lost power until the Tesla app on my phone notified me. Sadly getting them scheduled to do the installation was a huge hassle. Appointment was cancelled multiple times. I kept changing my schedule to accommodate them and they would cancel at the last second.
First class from start to finish. (4) Tesla Powerwalls added to my existing solar array, and replacement of my breaker box with a Span 48 breaker panel.
