Sunshine Maintenance Service Corp

Contracted with Sunshine Maintenance to strip and wax my kitchen floor. Victor, the owner came the next day to give me an estimate. On appointment day he arrived with two helpers at 8am. They diligently got to work until after 1pm. The floor literally looks better than on its installation day. It is so very clean and mirror like. Victor is extremely conscientious as were is associates.

We hired this company in February 2023 when purchasing our first home to refinish our hardwood floors, paint the entire interior, and repair our screened porch. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. The hardwood floors were sanded and glossed, but issues appeared almost immediately. Despite never using harsh cleaners, the finish has deteriorated so badly within two years that we now need to completely redo the floor as it’s peeling. There are even boot prints embedded in the finish. The painting work was equally careless. Every door knob in the house was painted over, forcing us to remove and clean them all. Our brick fireplace was painted on, and our newly refinished floors had green paint left all over from the kitchen cabinets. It’s clear little to no painter’s tape or protection was used. As for the porch, the job was never properly completed. Screens began popping out within a week, and even after having the company return multiple times, the work remained unfinished. We eventually gave up trying to get it resolved. As first-time homeowners, we were unsure what to expect, but this has been a frustrating and costly experience. I held off on writing a review because the pricing was affordable, but the poor quality and lack of professionalism have created more headaches than savings. I cannot understand how this company has so many positive reviews - my experience was the complete opposite. I have photos attached to show the issues.

Had an urgent matter that needed to be taken care of. Came in quickly over the weekend for an estimate. Work was done within 24 to 48 hours of request and was well done. I will definitely use Victor and Gerson again.

They were quick to respond to my request, highly competitive with pricing, and got the project done extremely quickly and to my satisfaction.

Victor and his team did an outstanding job of painting the exterior of my home. The crew was respectful of my property and pet (very careful about keeping the gate closed). Also completed a few smaller projects for a very reasonable charge.
