Ticks are what most people call Sweet's about. A homeowner in June 2026 wrote that before the first application they were pulling multiple ticks off their children and dog after every trip outside; after the barrier treatment went in, that stopped. Another, in May 2026, said their dogs hadn't come back with one since. This Lunenburg company runs seasonal mosquito-and-tick programs across the area, alongside the one-off emergencies — wasps in a soffit, bats in a roof, mice in a new house. Speed is the other recurring theme, and the examples are specific. In an August 2025 review, a homeowner called at 8:30 on a Monday morning about a wasp nest in a soffit vent and had it removed by 3 pm the same day. A landlord whose tenants were being swarmed said every other company was booked for the week and Sweet's squeezed them in that day. In a May 2025 review, a farm owner with wasps nesting in three horse run-in sheds — after a stinging incident involving her daughter and a no-show from another company — had Alex out three days later. The technicians get named, over and over: Jacob, Ben, Benny, Sean, Max, Jason. Owner Alex turns up on jobs himself, including a bat removal a customer in May 2026 said took about two minutes. Across 156 Google ratings at 4.9 and 129 reviews since 2023, that continuity is the strongest thing going for them. The complaints all point the same direction, and they're about follow-through rather than the spraying. The hardest one, from October 2025, is a bat job: that customer wrote that Sweet's closed only 25 percent of the roof ridge openings, that appointments were repeatedly cancelled or missed, and that when the bats didn't leave and they asked the company back, they were ghosted and had to hire someone else to finish it. A May 2025 reviewer who had paid up front for the whole mosquito and tick season described being enrolled in recurring payments as well and being billed twice, with more than two weeks spent trying to get it fixed. And in July 2026, a Leominster landlord with four properties left two voicemails, got no call back, and said they were moving on. For seasonal tick and mosquito barriers or a wasp nest you need gone this week, this is a responsive local crew with a long line of repeat customers. Exclusion work — sealing a roof for bats, closing a structure against rodents — is where the record is uneven, so if that's the job, get the scope written down in full, agree what "complete" means, and confirm exactly what your payment plan bills and when.

They do a good job until they decide not to call you back after 2 vms. This is not okay. As an owner of 4 properties in Leominster, I will be finding someone else.

we started using Sweets Pest control this year for ticks in our yard Based on recommendations from many neighbors. Before using sweets, we would pull sometimes multiple ticks off of children or our dog after going outside. After the first application, in which they form a protective barrier around the property, we immediately noticed results. They come back multiple times to reapply and we are incredibly happy with results. We just realized we also have had less mosquitoes and moths which is an added bonus. Highly recommend sweets pest control. They always check in before an application and are professional, thorough and respectful.

Been so very happy with Alex & his team! We’ve used Sweets for a few years now & the results definitely show. Honorable mention to Jacob, he does a great job covering the perimeter & we’ve appreciated his efforts.
