The Bee Hunter is a Massachusetts stinging-insect specialist run by Rusty Dillon, handling hornets, yellow jackets, wasps, honey bees, ground bees, bumble bees, and carpenter bees rather than general pest control. The loyalty here is the standout feature. Reviewers describe using Rusty for 3, 5, 10, even 13 years running — usually starting with an emergency (a nest the size of a basketball, a dog swarmed by wasps, insects coming through a wall) and then signing up for annual spring preventative treatment. Several say they haven't seen a wasp or bee problem since, across multiple homes in one case. Honesty comes up again and again as the thing that sets him apart. One reviewer, in 2023, described calling him after three weeks and two failed visits from Orkin left an active nest untreated. Another described him declining to charge close to a thousand dollars for a late-season nest, taping off the hole instead and explaining the colony would die out naturally. Several reviewers specifically praise him for not upselling services they didn't need, and for working carefully around pollinator gardens and other wildlife so only the target pest is affected. Response time is consistently fast — same-day or next-day shows up repeatedly, including a Sunday call handled the same day and a Friday-night call resolved the next morning. A 2024 review described him tackling a hornet nest two other pest companies had refused to touch because of its height and location. For a wasp, hornet, or bee problem — especially a recurring one or one other companies have struggled with — The Bee Hunter has one of the deepest and most consistently positive runs of reviews here, built substantially on repeat, multi-year customers.

The Bee Hunter was at our house less than 24 hours after I called him. I was impressed with his knowledge of our insects in the wall of our house. He arrived before his stated time. He was quite effective. Also, he was straight forward. He did not try to up sell other services or products. He was very down to earth. He took care of the problem in less than a half hour. He was great.
Easy to reach, came out next day and handled it quickly and professionally. Will use again if any hornets dare come back
Great experience with the Bee Hunter! They came out to inspect three different holes that I was convinced had bees. They did not try to upsell me on services that I didn’t need, they gave me a completely honest assessment and peace of mind. Truly honest, high-integrity people. I highly appreciate their professionalism and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
Excellent company. Certainly worth the wait! We had a HUGE nest in our home. One stop and they're gone. Highly recommend.
Highly recommended. Rusty responded to my service request on the same day, and communicated with me promptly with scheduling, and service updates. Colin provided the removal, was friendly, and informative about the procedure. The whole process was completed safely and lasted about 30 minutes. Already have friends that added them to their contact info.
