Owner Tyler Bishop started the company in 2003, and reviews going back to 2021 describe the same names sticking around for "10 years," "several years," and "a number of years" for lawn maintenance, snow plowing, irrigation, and hardscaping alike. It carries an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, accredited since 2017. The service mix is broad. Beyond mowing and lawn care, reviewers describe sprinkler-system startups and repairs (a 2025 review recounts a technician diagnosing and fixing a malfunctioning system quickly), winter plowing with proactive updates on timing, and hardscape projects such as a retaining wall built into a pool area (2021 review), a 2,000-square-foot sod order (2024), and pruning and mulch installs. A few reviewers also mention buying flowers, mums, pumpkins, and sod directly from the company's retail side. The BBB profile shows no complaints or government actions on file, and the written reviews back that up almost entirely — the large majority are five stars. The exceptions are worth knowing: a 2023 review complained about loud equipment and leaf debris blown from a T&B job site onto an adjacent, non-client yard; another 2023 review described a crew member behaving rudely near a property line; and a 2022 review pointed to invasive knotweed spreading on the company's own storage grounds. None describe trouble with paying customers' own projects, but they're relevant if you live next to one of T&B's job sites rather than being the one who hired them. For routine lawn care, irrigation, snow plowing, or a hardscaping project, the volume of long-tenured repeat customers here is the strongest evidence. Worth asking about: how they handle debris and noise around neighboring properties during a job.
