We hired T&J Builders to finish the bonus room above our garage, which required a large dormer. Taylor and his entire team were awesome to work with. They were flexible, worked around our schedule, and were understanding when we wanted something changed. Taylor handled everything seamlessly; from bringing in an architect to develop the plans, to working with a custom builder for our closet system and built-ins. The attention to detail and quality of work is second to none. I highly recommend T&J Builders for any renovation project.
My wife and I hired Taylor and his team to convert a two-car garage into a finished basement (with Murphy bed and mudroom) as well as to build a brand-new one car garage with a rooftop deck. We are very pleased with how everything turned out. The kids are playing with their friends all the time in the basement, making a mess as kids often do. And we as a family are eating dinner on the new deck. Everyone on the team was very dedicated, down to earth, respectful, and willing to roll up their sleeves and be creative when the inevitable renovation roadblock creeped up. Taylor was transparent during the whole process about cost and timeframes. He was also very responsive through phone call or text. Highly recommend.
I was looking for someone to do a sizeable remodel of our 2nd floor cape cod by adding a shed roof on the back of the entire house plus adding a new bathroom. Work included demo of 1/2 the existing 2nd floor and re-frame everything up from there, all new MEP's I work in commercial construction management, so I was a bit nervous about finding a GC with good sub quality in the seacoast area as the sub pool isn't the deepest. To say T&J Builders absolutely crushed the project would be an understatement. Taylor and his team are VERY responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and fair... They worked with me on a budget (which was very reasonable considering the scope of work), start date and schedule The project went smoother than I ever imagined. No delays, no major surprises. Taylor had full command of the sub core and did a great job pre-planning and scheduling in advance to make this happen. All the contractors were friendly and respectful of our home and their quality of work is fantastic. Literally smallest punch list of my career and it's my home ha Taylor and the team took my families 1st home and turned it into a place we can grow into for the next decade. We are forever grateful for having worked with T&J Builders. Cannot recommend them enough
We really enjoyed working with Taylor on our kitchen renovation. Taylor was flexible, professional, and fair with his pricing. He shared his own insights and suggestions throughout the project, which made the end result even better than we expected!
5 Stars. Love them. We have been working with T&J Builders for almost a year now. They started last winter with a large addition into our house. Taylor and his guys were great and quick with problem solving when problems inevitably arose. They were within a week of the proposed timeline for our first project which seems unheard of, especially with the fickle New Hampshire winters. In the spring they added a dormer to the attic and finished it with two bedrooms and a bathroom. They helped rework architectural plans we had previously gotten done that, in reality, did not work. Taylor was accommodating to all the odd requests we had like a bookshelf hidden door to an office, reading nooks in eves, small storage spaces under stairs and a different crazy color in each room. Throughout both projects we added lots of extras as they came up like a generator, radon mitigation and retaining wall with a patio for water mitigation along with a bunch of little things. Taylor and all the guys that work at T&J Builders are super friendly and helpful. Always willing to talk through an issue, help learn a new system or just listen to your mother tell endless stories that seem completely unrelated to anything that’s going on. We felt comfortable having them in our space and around our family. I have recommended T&J to anyone who asks and will be going back to them for any future projects.
