Customers writing about T J Perron & Co Pro Floor between 2019 and 2022 described both finished work they liked and disputes over unfinished jobs and payments. The New Braintree business has a 2-star Google average from four ratings. In a September 2019 review, a customer called Tom a good installer but said he left an installation nearly finished after collecting the balance. The customer reported more than 15 calls and a month before he returned to finish, and said Tom attributed the delay to family medical issues. The same reviewer described giving him another chance for a time-sensitive carpet installation, then having to find someone else after he said he could not do it because of family medical issues. The reviewer said no deposit had been paid for that second job. A June 2019 reviewer alleged that Perron took a $1,500 deposit from Yankee Spirits without doing the job or responding, and reported a small-claims judgment and an arrest warrant after nonpayment. In March 2021, another reviewer said their father paid for work that was left unfinished and eventually recovered his money through small-claims court. These are the reviewers' accounts of the disputes and court proceedings. A customer writing in October 2022 described two home projects that both turned out beautifully. That reviewer praised Tom's professionalism and said he was pleasant to deal with.

We had Tom help us with two separate projects at home and they both came out beautiful! His work is very professional and he’s one of the nicest people to deal with on top of that! Thanks for all you have done for us!
Took my Dad’s money and did not return to finish the job. My father is elderly and undergoing cancer treatments. Finally got his money back after going to small claims court.
Buyer Beware!! While Tom is a good installer he is not responsible, dependable, and disappears without a any communication after taking your money. 1st installation: A couple years ago Tom started an installation and completed 98% of the job. He wanted the balance due and said he would return promptly the next morning. After over 15 calls and a month later he finally answered my call and finished the job. Tom stated he had family medical issues and this is why he couldn't get back to us. While I understand the medical issue there was no reason to not call during the 30 day period. 2nd CHANCES. Just two weeks ago I called Tom as I am a huge believer in 2nd chances. Tom came to our home reviewed the installation. I told him it was a time sensitive installation, Carpet in 7 to 10 days, and he said NO Problem. Well carpet comes in on Friday, I called Tom to let him know we are ready and he can install on Monday. Tom doesn't answer my call for two days and states he can't do the installation due to family medical issues. Again while I understand these issues, we too have our own issues to deal with, this is Tom's crutch, and he consistently uses it. We are now left high and dry looking for another installer one day before the installation date. Tom could have even called me two days ago to let me know he couldn't install. Good news is I never gave a deposit to him. Again, while I understand family medical issues as we were PRIMARY CAREGIVERS for our own family. I never used it to falsely commit to others in my own small business services. If this is what you want to deal with then proceed. He is a good installer when he is not messing with your own life. Just don't pay in full. I'm not giving a 3rd chance.
