Tait Moving is a moving company that says it has been in business for 50 years. On its website it lists local, long-distance, out-of-state, senior, piano and office moving among its services. A 2022 Google reviewer described Tait as doing business as Colonial Moving and Storage and said the company had been their go-to movers for the past five years, handling everything from the smallest assignment to a complex move quickly and safely. A 2023 Google customer had a different outcome: they said that after unpacking they found a cracked screen on their television, and that the company failed to take full responsibility for the damage. Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+.
Bad experience with this moving company. Company failed to take full responsibility for the damaged merchandise that they have caused. After unpacking it was realized that the movers had failed to properly handle merchandise with care which resulted in a cracked screen on my television. I will never use this company again.
If I could give them SIX stars I would! Tait (DBA Colonial Moving and Storage) has been our go-to movers for the past five years and have never let us down. From the smallest assignment to a recent complex moving assignment, they do it quickly, safely and professionally.
The owner Tim is rude and nasty … i spoke to him once he got the assignment for my house he seemed nice and they showed up on the day of moving quoted however they came with a small truck claiming the couldn’t get the rack to trailer down and that would of been fine is i was told about it prior when booking with Brandon which I wasn’t , it was never mentioned regardless whether i would need it or not and the amount associated with it . Once i was told they mover called Tim and which he was yelling and being rude and stated he didn’t have to pick up anything if I didn’t agree.
Initial phone contact appeared very professional. Actual move very different as colonial had sub contracted to someone else.
