Liberty Painting and Siding, LLC

Liberty Painting & Siding is a Braintree-based painting and siding contractor that's built a long, consistent run of five-star reviews since 2022, with Matt named as the owner across many of them. It's a BBB Accredited Business (accredited since 2012) with an A+ rating, and the BBB lists 23 years in business. The work spans real range beyond a simple paint job. In a 2025 review, the crew handled extensive prep — patching and sanding walls, ceiling, and woodwork — after a bathroom renovation before painting, and made it look perfect. In a 2024 review, a full exterior overhaul covered siding on the house and a detached garage, pressure washing, and painting the deck trim and all exterior doors. In a 2023 review, an exterior job was completed within days specifically to beat incoming weather, without sacrificing quality. Repeat business shows up clearly: one reviewer had Liberty paint their house back in 2018 and returned years later for new window installation with some accompanying carpentry, calling it hands-down the best company they've worked with; another describes working with Matt and his team on several occasions, each time with the same excellent quality. A Reddit commenter recommended Liberty for exterior work but added a caveat worth knowing: on an older home, the pricing might run higher than expected, though the quote itself is free. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Google shows 5 stars from 17 ratings, and three more reviews have landed in just the last six months. For anyone on the South Shore needing interior or exterior painting, siding, power washing, or related carpentry, Liberty's deep, repeat-client history points to careful, detail-oriented work — just worth confirming pricing upfront, especially for an older home.
