John is responsive, thorough and knowledgeable. Very happy he came out to our house and will call him if we need anything else done in the future
Jon removed an old forced air propane furnace and replaced it with a new one. Great clean work, done on time for much less than I was quoted for by thy big oil companies in the area.
Jon replaced our problematic heat-only forced air system with a central heat pump heating and cooling system. Everything looks great and works great since the install. It was easy to talk to Jon about the tradeoffs and constraints. Unlike other contractors, who continually pushed us towards minisplits (likely because they're fast and easy for them to install), Jon actually listened to our concerns and helped us figure out the right solution for our slightly wonky house. And in retrospect I'm glad we didn't compromise, because we're very happy with our new setup. When issues cropped up, Jon clearly communicated the issue, presented a solution, and didn't miss a beat. Jon and his crew showed up when they said they would every day, and let us know exactly when they would be around. No trouble removing any of the old materials. Jon was also the only contractor who reached out about house plans to help him calculate the heating and cooling load for our house -- everyone else just tried using rules of thumb for cooling and copying the BTU of the old heating system. If you want a central cooling system, Jon's the man. If you want someone who keeps up with modern heat pump best practices, Jon's the man. Since fossil systems are simpler, I'm sure he has no trouble there, either. Highly recommended.
We hired Tempest for mini split HVAC system maintenance. They went above and beyond our expectations, completing the task at hand efficiently, and identifying issues we were unaware of. We recommend highly. Thank you.
Jonathon did a fantastic job, he was on time, removed the old tank, installed new tankless heater. All in a day! Seamless, definitely recommend Tempest heating to anyone!
