Above the Notch Heating holds a 3.7-star Google average across three ratings. A 2022 customer said Brian was quick to respond, first tried to help with their furnace by phone or FaceTime, and when he needed to come to the house they did not have to wait very long. That 2022 customer called his pricing very fair. A 2022 customer whose oil tank line was broken said Brian helped them shut it off over FaceTime and came the next day to fix it. A 2021 customer said Brian worked on their furnace, told them the boiler was broken and needed replacing, and said he would get quotes together. That 2021 customer wrote that they were strung along for almost two months, that an email asking for updates went unanswered, and that Brian later told their husband 5000 would be needed down in an email they never received. The 2021 customer said they then had to find someone else in the winter.
Brian has always been quick to respond and try to help us with our furnace via phone/FaceTime first. Then if he needed to come to the house to fix the issue and we didn’t have to wait very long. He is very fair in his pricing and always meticulous. We will be using Above the Notch heating for all of our heating needs
Our oil tank line was broken and Brian literally FaceTimed me to help me to shut it off and then came the next day to fix it. He was prompt and super helpful. I will be using him for all our furnace maintenance needs in the future.
I hate to write a bad review but I have been drug along for almost two months. Brian had come to work on my furnace on Nov 10. He told me after he was done that my Boiler was broken and I would need a new one. I asked him if I had to work on getting a new boiler right away and he said I wouldn’t wait to long. I proceeded to ask if that was something he could do and if he had time. He told me he would get quotes together and let me know. I emailed him on 11/17/21 to ask if he had any updates. No answer on the email. He did send me a text on the 23’rd and told me he emailed some people about quotes and that he didn’t forget about me. He said he might not hear back from them right away because they were on vacation and because of the holiday. I told him thank you for getting back to me and I gave him my email. I texted him on December 3 and no answer till the 6’th. He called me Stephanie and texted something that didn’t make any sense. I asked him if that text was meant for me. He said yes. The next text said they didn’t seem to receive his email. So was wondering if I could send pictures of the plate on the boiler. I did right away. He told me they would put a rush on it if he could get the pics out. He told me thank you for reminding him because it slipped his mind the week before. I had my husband call today 12/27/21 and ask what was happening because I was getting the runaround. He told my husband he sent me an email and said I would need 5000 down. First off I never received any email. I even showed my husband. He also told my husband he never said they would put a rush on a boiler for me after I sent the pics. Again I showed my husband the text I had received from Brian. Long story short do not waste your time on this company. It’s really to bad because he was super nice and informative the first time he came. To string a costumer along in winter and even after I told him my water wasn’t heating up. Why not just say I have no time for you and I am extremely unorganized. I am upset now I have to find someone else in the winter and hope my furnace continues to heat my house. I do have all the text and my email to prove my story.
