Tennett Tree Service says it has been in business 81 years, and its website describes serving residential and commercial clients across Connecticut, with work restoring power across New England. A 2023 customer had four very tall, very dead ash trees in a clump close to the house, and said John and his crew avoided hitting the house with any debris. That 2023 customer said they cleaned up after the tree removal and stacked the remaining wood so a neighbor could remove it. A 2026 customer said they were hard working professionals from the estimate to the finish. A 2025 customer who called for an estimate said the secretary first told them the company did not serve their area, then on a second call said it did not serve residential customers, while its website says it does both.
From estimate to the finish, Tennett Tree Services were hard working professionals. We would use them again if we needed more tree work and we highly recommend their services.
Basically called for an estimate. First time I called secretary lied to me and told me they didn’t serve this area. Later found out on their website they do. Then on my second call she lied to me again and told me they don’t serve residential, and again clearly she was lying because on their website it says they do serve residential customers.
I highly recommend Tennett Tree Service for the following reasons. I had four very tall, very dead ash trees in a clump close to my house. John and his crew not only avoided hitting my house with any debris, (ash is very brittle when dead and seasoned) They cleaned up all evidence of tree removal and stacked the remaining wood, providing easy access for my neighbor to remove. The crew was very professional, courteous, and clean.
