I want to recognize RICKY, my Terminix service technician, for his outstanding service and knowledge! I had a terrible outbreak of phorid flies in my home, and I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. RICKY took the time to explain that my kitchen food waste grinder (garbage disposal) could have a buildup of organic material and bacteria that was contributing to the fly problem. He explained that there is a special cleaning brush and solution designed to clean the inside of the disposal. I had owned this appliance for years and never knew it required that type of cleaning! Thanks to RICKY’s advice, I contacted the manufacturer, and they sent me a special cleaning kit. RICKY is absolutely amazing! He didn’t just focus on treating the flies. He educated me about the possible source of the problem and helped me understand how to prevent it from happening again. It’s rare to find a technician who genuinely cares enough to go above and beyond for his customers.
