That customer said Francis evaluated the job and gave a more than fair price, then he and his partner, Andrew, worked for about 5 hours until the job was completed, leaving a pile of branch chips in the driveway for mulch at the customer's request. Terra Tree and Stump holds 5 stars from 23 ratings on Google. Its website describes residential tree removal for hazardous, damaged, diseased or unwanted trees and lists Putnam, Fairfield and Litchfield as its service area. A 2026 customer said 5 large and 3 medium stumps were removed, leaving a flat yard again. A recent customer said grinding one stump ran into an issue because of its awkward location, and that Francis, the owner, made every attempt to resolve it.
