A 2020 customer said they could not get any other local masons to return their calls, and that Horacio took on a tricky job, did good work in a timely manner and charged what that customer considered a very fair price. That 2020 reviewer wrote that Horacio's full-time job was with the Amherst Schools maintenance department, so the work had to fit around his schedule, and recommended texting him rather than calling.
Horacio is a good man and did good work in a timely manner. His full time job is with the Amherst Schools in the maintenance dept., so you need to work around his schedule. (But this is also why I was able to book him for this job--I couldn't get any other local masons to even return my calls!) Warning: his Portuguese accent is thick, so he can be a little tough to understand on the phone ! I recommend texting! But he took on a tricky job, did good work, in a timely manner and for what I considered a very fair price.
