- Mosquito and tick reduction — customers report fewer pests after treatment
- Clear communication — June reviewers praise communication about the service
- Competitive pricing — one customer praised pricing after comparing companies
Fewer mosquitoes on the patio and fewer ticks in the yard are what customers describe after hiring The Mosquito Man. The Southampton company calls itself a family-owned mosquito and tick control business serving the Pioneer Valley and surrounding Western Massachusetts communities. It says its technicians apply targeted barrier spray to lawns, shrub beds and home foundations, and it offers free estimates. Its stated service area includes Northampton, Amherst, Holyoke, Westfield and Springfield. A June 2026 Google reviewer said their first application had reduced ticks and mosquitoes enough to make the outdoor space more enjoyable, including evenings on the deck without mosquito bites. That customer also praised quick, clear communication and said they had compared several companies before choosing its pricing. Another June reviewer identified the owner as Jack, praised his communication and reported no bugs around the house after a couple of visits. Customers also describe less trouble using their outdoor spaces: a July reviewer said they could enjoy the patio without mosquito bites, while a September reviewer reported fewer mosquitoes and ticks that season. Google lists a 5-star average from 13 ratings.
