Family Handyman has also credited Steven Rossetti of Florence Pest Solutions as a contributor to pest-control articles. An August 2025 Google reviewer described hiring Steve to treat carpenter ants and spiders. He explained the treatment and cautioned that full effectiveness could take two weeks; the customer reported that the ants were gone and there was no sign of spiders within three days. They also said his quote was less than half the competing quotes they had received. Steve explained that eliminating one colony would not prevent another from moving into the yard the following summer.
