The Pearl Gates is a small Methuen fencing outfit with a narrow, clear focus: chain link and steel fence, installed or repaired. Its listings advertise free estimates and note that the company speaks Spanish, and reviewers consistently name the owner, Eddie, as the person who shows up. The reputation is unanimous but shallow. Four reviews sit on file, every one of them five stars, and they praise the same things: the crew turns up when promised, works quickly, and cleans up. Two of those four, though, carry the same customer's signature and describe the same visit, so the real number of people who have written about this company is closer to three. The bigger caveat is age. All of that praise dates from 2022, and nothing has been published about the company in the years since. A perfect score built on three customers during a single year is a starting point, not a track record, and it says nothing about how the business runs today. Worth knowing too: the Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles are the same listing shown twice, down to identical wording, so a homeowner comparing the two sites is reading one source rather than two independent ones. Massachusetts exempts fencing-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so there is no state registration to look up here. This is a reasonable call for a straightforward chain link job in the Methuen and Lawrence area, particularly if Spanish-language service matters to you. Because the public record went quiet after 2022, ask Eddie directly for two or three recent local references and a current certificate of insurance, and get the scope and price in writing before any posts go in the ground.

Chain Link Fence Installation. $1,500. Yes, I recommend this pro. Eddie and his crew came today and installed a chain link dog run for me. I spoke to him monday, gave him the deposit and he said he would be there friday to install. He was very helpfull all around and as someone who has dealt with contractors alot, i can say this guy plays no games. He showed up when he said he would, got the job done, and it was done with the highest quality and the price was right. Id absolutely recommend this company, i have them coming back soon to do a chicken run for me and ill be using them for any fencing installs and or repairs from here on out as well as recommending him to everyone i know. Thanks again!

Chain Link Fence Repair or Alter. Yes, I recommend this pro. They quickly estimated and did the work to repair my chain link fence. This including replacing a couple of poles and creating new holes for the poles. They left the place near and clean.

What does a fence cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from The Pearl Gates. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Walk the line and pace it off — a pace is about 3 feet.
Estimated range
$4,050 – $7,950
Typical fencing project around $6,000
