To Do Ta Done

Won three items from an estate auction. I won the items for very little money. The antique planter I won was the main reason I was driving two hours both ways to go pick up. I get to the house and it's very chaotic, no signs or directions just people entering and exiting this house who probably shouldn't be. No one standing at the front to greet people. Finally found someone to help me only to find out they did not have my planter. I was told it was likely that "a crazy hoarder lady" who was there earlier likely stole it. I was beyond furious. I drove two hours and wasted a tank of gas then had to drive another two hours home. Then the employee had the nerve to suggest I drive to this crazy lady house who stole my planter and try to get it back! I asked her how someone was able to enter the home take what didn't belong to them. It was obvious they were just letting people into the house and no one was managing item pick ups in an orderly process that one might expect. Imagine trusting these people when they are just letting random people unsupervised into the home. I was told I would just be reimbursed if they couldn't find it. If I did find it, they wanted me to drive back down to get it (another 4 hrs driving and a tank of gas) because "it would cost a fortune to ship it". After I explained I would not be taking another day off work, driving another 4 hours to pick up a planter she agreed she would ship it if they found it. Well as you can imagine she just reimbursed me the $11 and call it a day. Absolutely disgusted with these people! Unprofessional, untrustworthy and incompetent. I wouldn't suggest trusting them to manage estates or anything else!

{Review from someone who had To Do Ta Done execute a downsizing sale/auction in February 2025.} Unbelievable! Truly. We were moving to another state, and I had a home FULL of items and we had a deadline. I am a collector and reseller and could not imagine getting through ALL of that, plus my own personal belongings, which I needed to downsize as well. I knew about Mona, the owner of To Do Ta Done, because I've been to many Estate Sales. I called her to see if she might be able to help. Honestly, I might have hesitated because I was worried that my 'stuff' might not be worth her while. DO NOT hesitate if you are wondering the same thing!! This was the best decision we could have made! Mona is kind, cool, and positive. She said, "We can sell anything". We walked around my house, I pointed things out and she just said "Yes, we can sell that", "Yup, clothes", 'Yes, kitchen stuff", "Yes, anything". She was SO positive...it was all a YES, and what a huge relief to us!! So shortly after that, Mona's "Super Crew" showed up and got to work. They set up photo areas in 3 places with professional lighting and backdrops. Each crew member had a specialty, and it was so interesting to watch. Cecily was upstairs taking photos, measurements and cataloguing all furniture, rugs, wall hangings, dish sets, glasses, and kitchenware. Cecily also tackled my husband's workshop downstairs. There were tons of tools, shelving, hardware, a workbench, you name it. Anna was in the office with a very large amount of jewelry that she tested for gold or silver, then organized into many different lots. She then took photos, catalogued, and listing the lots. Connie was in the basement, and she focused on the ''jumble of everything' that I had down there. Purses, fur coats, vintage clothing, antique glassware, framed artwork, cameras, Xmas stuff, etc. She put so much care into her photos by putting clothing on manikins, taking and listing measurements, and taking great photos. All three of these outstanding women made the sale what it was. I was very proud of what went up for auction when the auction started, and they get all of the credit for that!! I am still pinching myself with how well we did. I was so overwhelmed beforehand and was going to just bring boxes and boxes to Goodwill and be done with it. With this process, it paid for our ENTIRE move to Florida, and then some! Thank you, Mona, To Do Ta Done, and Anna, Connie, and Cecily! It was such a pleasure!

Thank you Mona and crew! You did an amazing job handling the Estate Sale at my mom's house in Marblehead! The entire staff was thoughtful and very understanding as the house held a life of memories.

I love To Do! Ta Done√ Shop and Estate Sales. I shop there for many things. Sometimes I plan on giving them as gifts, but I love them so much that I end up keeping them. This happens when I go to the Estate Sales too.
