Intelligent Labor & Moving is an Arlington outfit whose reviews keep returning to the same idea: the crew doesn't rattle. Reviewers describe furniture that shouldn't fit through a door fitting anyway, movers pivoting calmly when a job runs longer than planned, and a nightmare house layout getting solved rather than shrugged off. Google shows 5 stars from 239 ratings, and the pattern holds across 129 reviews since 2021 — the last six months alone added 30, all positive. Specific jobs recur in the detail: eight heavy, oddly shaped pieces threaded from a third floor down to a basement through tight corners; a platform bed frame disassembled with the owners taught how to do it themselves; a full-sized sleeper sofa carried up without complaint. Several customers have used the company repeatedly — one for 15-plus years of both personal moves and staged listings, another three times in eight years, others twice in the same year during a sell-then-buy scramble. Crew names come up constantly (Mike, Eric, Vinnie, Jon, Paul), the kind of detail that shows up when people are naming the actual person who helped them, not filling out a form. The company, started by Ezekiel ("Zeke"), runs at least one electric moving truck, which a handful of reviewers call out as a nice bonus rather than the reason they hired them. It isn't spotless. One reviewer's move ran longer and cost more than the original quote, and a separate review mentions a few items arriving broken — both isolated against a very large run of trouble-free jobs, but worth knowing going in: get the itemized estimate in writing, and ask what happens if the move runs past the quoted hours. For anything from a single dresser to a full household with delicate or oversized pieces, this is a crew people keep calling back — often literally the same movers, years apart.
“we've moved twice with Intelligent Labor and Moving. They treated our stuff well.”
“Intelligent Movers were prompt and communicative... Our movers were friendly, speedy, and careful... Everything was delivered up two flights of stars”
I have used Intelligent Labor & Moving four times and have always been impressed! Friendly, treating my items with care and excellent communicators
Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic. Very professional, deconstructed and rebuilt all furniture while even consulting on how we want the rooms laid out. Would highly recommend!
I had a great experience from start to finish. They were very easy to work with, responsive, clear, and great attention to detail. The team showed up on time and ready to work. It was a 100 degrees and they powered through. Well done, I would hire them again.
We would definitely recommend Intelligent Labor and moving - they were prompt, responsive, and did a great job moving all of our boxes and furniture. They even moved a washer and dryer to a different floor in our house while unloading our moving truck.
