Intelligent Labor & Moving

Intelligent Labor & Moving is an Arlington moving company, and a recent customer with a heavy glass and metal dining table from 1970 said the movers covered the glass in cardboard and wrapped the entire piece in plastic, and it survived the move. That customer also said two workers did what a well-known service had quoted three workers for, in the same time frame. The company's website describes it as a family-owned, Arlington-based local and long-distance moving and storage company with electric trucks and solar-powered warehouses, and says it was founded in 2005 in Cambridge. On Google it holds 5 stars from 239 ratings. A recent customer said someone on the phone, possibly Mike, called the same day the quote form went in and asked about each room, the type of furniture and whether it needed to be disassembled. A recent customer said the team moved a washer and dryer to a different floor of the house while unloading the moving truck. A recent customer said the team moved their medical equipment to a new office. A recent customer said really heavy pieces went up narrow, steep stairs and the total price came in under the estimate. A recent customer said the movers came back after the unpacking to collect the boxes and packing materials for recycling. A 2026 customer said the team slid a piano to another room on the same floor and finished that small job in 30 minutes. A 2026 customer said eight heavy, awkwardly shaped pieces of furniture were moved from the third floor to the basement through several tight corners and doorways. A 2025 customer said a few items they had packed themselves arrived broken and were not covered, and that the company gave them a small discount.
