Horizon Boston Movers has built a following on repeat business — one reviewer says this is her fifth move with the company, another says they've used Horizon twice in three years and call it their best decision. Based in Allston, the company holds a 4.9-star rating on Google from 270 ratings and is a Better Business Bureau A+ accredited business. What stands out across dozens of reviews is how often the same names come up — Estuardo, Alberto, Samuel, Omar, Guillermo — credited by different customers for the same things: careful wrapping, efficient work, and staying calm when a move goes sideways. One customer's elevator broke mid-move and the crew offered to carry everything up six flights rather than stop; another needed a couch hoisted up a narrow North End stairwell and got it done. A long-distance move from Massachusetts to Colorado is described as handled with clear estimating and no last-minute surprises, and one Boston move came in with the final cost matching the original quote exactly. There's one thing worth knowing, even though it's not about the moving work itself: an older review, not from a customer who hired the company, describes a dispute over a company truck parked in a loading zone and blocking a building entrance, with a driver who initially refused to move it. It's an isolated report rather than a pattern — the last six months alone produced 45 reviews with none negative — but it's fair to mention if you live somewhere with tight street parking and want to ask how a crew handles it. For a Boston-area move — especially one with awkward furniture, narrow stairs, or a longer haul out of state — this is a company with the volume and consistency of praise to back a confident hire. The main thing worth confirming up front is parking and access at both ends, given how often narrow streets and stairwells come up in what customers describe.

Alberto and Pablo were fantastic. Good communication, fast service, and careful with all of the items I was moving. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

Estuardo and team did an excellent job moving us from a three story condo to a three story house. The team was polite, professional, and took great care with our possessions. We have some difficult items (treadmill, full sized freezer, a full size bar cabinet, power wheels) and they were all moved without damage. The team worked quickly and efficiently and communicated any potential cost adjustments as they were required (additional boxes, extra time, costs for disassembling a crib). I highly recommend working with them.
