Top Tier Electric is run by Eric Batista, who holds active electrician licenses in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, verified against each state's registry. The company says it's been in business 25 years, working across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine on commercial, residential, and renewable-energy work — solar, battery storage, and generators — and Eric is NABCEP board certified for solar installation. The one review on file, from July 2026, describes Eric installing a transfer switch and taking care to communicate clearly about the options within the customer's budget — and to avoid cutting power all at once so it wouldn't disrupt a spouse working from home that day. The company also says it holds electrical licensing in Rhode Island and Maine and a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, though those haven't been independently verified. With only one review published so far, there isn't a broader pattern yet to point to — worth asking for references on solar or generator work specifically, since that's the specialty the credentials point to.
Had Eric over the house for a transfer switch install. He was a good communicator going over my options to meet my budget. He took into consideration that my wife works from home and he did not cut the power all at once in order to not interrupt her day, which we greatly appreciate. He worked with the town to get permits and inspections as well. I would absolutely hire Eric again for any of my residential electric needs.
