Tim and his crew were so easy to work with. Tim’s craftsmanship is phenomenal! He put in a gorgeous glass block wall in our client’s primary bath that came out better than expected, on time, and on budget. Tim is a true craftsman!
Initially we contacted Tim for a small project in our kitchen which entailed removing and replacing a large built-in pantry (and the dry wall behind it) so that a plumber could repair a water leak. We were very pleased with Tim's work-- top notch! He has since completed several projects in our home which included constructing a half-wall by a stairwell, adding a hand rail, and repairing/replacing/painting a water damaged ceiling. His sheet-rocking and carpentry skills are exceptional. He left the completed work sites in impeccable condition. He was timely, courteous and professional from beginning to end. We look forward to having Tim back for a bathroom update and highly recommend him to others!
We worked with Tim as we renovated our home in Stratton. He was easy to work with and did excellent work. We couldn't recommend him more highly.
Tim has done a couple projects for me recently. The first was coming up with a solution to the occasional ice dam on the roof. After coming up with different options, we went with a 175 ft self-regulating commercial grade heat cable. He followed the manufacturer's recommended layout, filled in the clip holes with silicone, and ran it out the down pipe to daylight. So far it's been great. The next project was replacing a door frame which was rotting due to water damage. He found material that resists rot and replaced the trim as well. Lastly, he painted the frame and did a paint refresh on the rest of the exterior door frames. He's responsive, gives good advice and options, and is reasonably priced. When the weather improves in the spring, I'll have more work for him to tackle.
Tim did an incredible job repairing a 3-story porch for me last summer. The porch had some rot and was structurally compromised around the footings and rim joists, so some of the load-bearing elements had to be replaced while keeping the porch supported. It was like a Tetris game, the way he strategically took weight off load-bearing parts of the porch and arranged the supports so he could pour new footings and replace the rim joists. I had total faith in his ability, and the end results looked great! I would highly recommend him for any project that requires technical expertise and finesse.
