True Health Water Systems is a Hingham water-treatment shop that homeowners keep calling back for one reason: the water actually tastes different afterward. Across dozens of Google reviews, the same specifics repeat — chlorine smell gone, orange stains no longer showing up on shower curtains, kids' rashes clearing up once a house switched off town water. The company, run day-to-day by Don, installs whole-house filtration and softener systems like the True Pure 3000 and follows up with filter swaps roughly every six months. What sets the written record apart from a typical install-and-forget outfit is the testing. Reviewers repeatedly mention Don sending lab results and water-quality updates, not just when something's wrong but as a matter of course — one homeowner in Scituate described him proactively flagging a town contamination warning before it became an issue. Customers who've had a system in for years — one couple cites seven — describe the annual service plan as hands-off, and installs are consistently described as fast, often finished start to finish the same day. Not every account is glowing. In a 2022 HomeAdvisor review, a customer described a poorly leveled install, ceiling damage from misplaced connections, and plastic piping run through an otherwise all-copper house, with no response when they asked to have it corrected. It's the one sour note in an otherwise consistent record, but worth weighing since it points at real workmanship, not just a scheduling gripe. One more thing worth confirming before booking: the company's Massachusetts plumber license (4179-PL-C) shows as expired in the state registry, under the name True Health Water Systems, LLC. That's worth asking about directly. For a house with bad-tasting or discolored water — especially in towns like Scituate or Bridgewater where reviewers describe ongoing municipal water problems — this is a shop people trust enough to recommend to their neighbors. Just confirm the current license status and get a firm answer on materials and workmanship before signing off on an install.
Could not be happier with this system and the service, I never have to remember when filters need to be replaced. Thank you for sharing all the testing and making sure my family has pure water!
Install was seemless and quick. Love the system!
Don and the team at True Health were fantastic to deal with. Don was very knowledgeable about the water conditions in our area, and assured us that his system would be able to get us clean, healthy water. From our final meeting to the installation of the system was incredibly quick. The water quality difference is remarkable. So happy we went with True Health - highly recommend if looking for whole home water filtration systems on the south shore.
We are very happy that we had the True Health Water System installed 2 years ago. Water is crystal clear and tastes delicious. I am very comfortable now when bathing my grandson due to the knowledge that the water is so clean and free of toxins. We had the smaller system installed since we are a family of two and it works just fine.
We love our True Health True Pure 3000! Feels so great to drink and bathe this now clean water! I highly recommend Don and his team at True Health to anyone who wants clean water!
