In March 2026 a customer of Tuttle's Trucking & Recycling wrote that they have had no problems with pickups every other week, and a May 2026 customer praised the service and pricing, writing "Competent and friendly.". In a January 2022 review, a customer who had used Tuttle's for two years of weekly trash pickup wrote that the truck shows up at about the same time every week; when that customer called about putting out a rug, the company gave a price to pick it up, and a dumpster rental from Tuttle's went smoothly. An April 2022 customer wrote that their dog knows the sound of the truck and waits for his weekly treat from them. In an April 2023 review, a reviewer wrote that a driver crossed into their lane with less than 100 feet to spare while they had three small children in the back seat, and that they braked hard, veered off the road, and the driver kept going. The reviewer wrote that the driver claimed it happened in a 40 mph zone when it was a 50 mph zone, and that the owner did nothing meaningful beyond yelling at them over the phone. In January 2024 a reviewer wrote that a truck driver threatened people with a bat after being called out for picking through trash. A June 2022 one-star review accused co-owner Hope Tuttle of being "in agreement with prejudice behaviors." The Saint Albans company says it has been in business 100 years, lists Epsom, Franklin and Grand Isle in its service area, offers free estimates and lists commercial, construction-site, office, property-management and real estate junk removal and cleanouts. Google shows 3.8 stars from 16 ratings.
Great service and good pricing! Competent and friendly. A+!
no problems with pick ups every other week.
Horrible place truck driver threatens people with a bat for getting called out on picking through trash and taking what they want and leaving what they want absolute horrible people
One of their drivers nearly caused a high speed collision with my vehicle, while I had my three small children in my backseat. He turned, crossing lanes into my lane with less than 100 feet between my car and his truck. I had to brake so abruptly that my tires burnt out, and veer off the road, narrowly missing hitting the back of the truck's front left tire and the side of his vehicle. The driver continued driving, and did not pull over to check on us at all. I called to let management know, and was told that the owner would look into it. Apparently, the driver concocted a false story, (stating that this occured in a 40 mph zone, which was not true, I was driving the speed limit in a 50 mph zone) and the owner failed to act in any meaningful way, other than yelling at me over the phone. Highly do not recommend this business, and would be surprised if there's not a "next time" this happens with this driver or company.
Co-owner, Hope Tuttle, seems to be in agreement with prejudice behaviors. “Racial Slurs and activities” consequently should only be a slap on the wrist after you apologize.
