Two Storey Building

Two Story Building remodeled an original bathroom, creating a modern wet room with an open floor plan and lofted ceiling. They were willing to work with our design and install a custom cabinet that we built and provided, and they solved some structural issues at the beginning which allowed us to move forward with the original design intact. They were meticulous in their attention to detail, making sure that we understood any issues that arose, and were infinitely patient and respectful of our requests and concerns. There was never an impatient reaction, or air of condescension, even when we had multiple questions or when small changes were made mid-way through the process. The subcontractors were professional and obliging, and I felt that Two Storey did an excellent job pairing the workers to the job. For instance, because of the design, this room was all about the larger format tile, which was installed on all four walls, floor to ceiling, and the work required a good amount of planning to get the layout correct. The tile installer spent a full day with us and making sure he understood exactly what we wanted. The electrician was also extremely careful in his planning, which allowed the rest of the building and installations to proceed without a hitch. The project was completed in a timely way and came in under budget and the room looks and functions exactly as we hoped. We so appreciate the way the whole team worked to realized our vision and for adding greatly to the enjoyment and value of our home.

Doug and his team designed and completed a new 3 car garage and master suite. Project was on budget and time, his crews were all very respectful and made sure each day the job site was clean which we really appreciated since we were still living in the house with 4 kids around the addition. Doug was easy to work with on design changes and kept us up to date with when to expect each step and subcontractor to be on the job.

We were impressed with Two Storey Building the moment they came to our house to discuss our kitchen remodel project and goals. They were professional, very knowledgeable, experienced in building whole homes, and very engaged. They even organized a whole day to drive 2 hrs with us to a custom cabinet showroom and manufacturing floor so we could learn more about the process, our choices, and meet with our kitchen designer in person. This was our first time going through a remodel, and we did a lot of research along the way. Still, we are so grateful for Doug, Camden, Mat, and Sam for making the process as stress-free and as predictable as possible. They were not only communicative and transparent with us throughout the project, but they were also respectful of our decisions and accommodating to our requests. We were able to stay very close to the initial estimated schedule. Their choice of trade partners is also top notch! After a while, it was good to be able to just trust that the companies they work with (for the electrical work, flooring, painting, etc.) were all best in class and reliable. We are beyond thrilled with the result and are already thinking about future projects we'll want to do with them.

We contacted Two Storey Building when we were considering building an accessory in-law apartment on our home. I had previously owned a house they built and had been satisfied with the quality of that product. Through all phases of this project, they were honest, responsive and professional. All factors including design and materials, time to complete and costs involved were clearly defined and met. They made what could be a very stressful situation seamless.
