Ty Tan Designs, LLC

I have worked with Ty now for three years and am so pleased with the progression of our properties landscaping. We’ve progressively renovated more and more spaces on the property and it just keeps getting better. Ty is thoughtful, creative and professional. I look forward to many more years of collaboration!

I have a property that had been neglected for several years. There were some ornamental trees and overgrown hedges, but nothing else. Over two years Ty transformed my yard with new boxwoods, artfully pruned Manhattan Euonymus, two new perennial gardens, and new shrubs along the back. I love it and so do my neighbors across the street! Ty brought in all the planting material as well as an experienced crew and everything was done very efficiently with no mess. I highly recommend Ty. Beautiful results and very nice to work with.

Ty Tan was the first garden professional I consulted, and she immediately understood what my small, neglected garden needed and what I hoped to achieve. We both contributed ideas, but she achieved all the desired results. For example, one of my requests was for "a stone wall (to terrace the slope) that looked 100 years old." I got my wall (two in fact), and I could not be happier with the garden, which turned out even more beautiful than I had anticipated. Ty is a lovely person and a creative and hardworking professional. I will happily continue working with her.

Ty Tan is an excellent designer and a gardening expert. She has a true passion and an expert eye for gorgeous gardens. She is especially a true gardener and has incredible plant knowledge, which is essential for the success of any beautiful design. We have valued her collaborations with our firm and would work with her in the future any opportunity.
