Tytech Home Services is a Fitchburg handyman outfit that Thumbtack lists for work including holiday lighting installation, gutter cleaning, window installation and repair, and picture hanging, and it holds a 4.8-star rating from 24 Thumbtack ratings. Two 2023 Thumbtack reviews called him responsive, and in a separate 2023 review a customer said he fixed a Govee lighting installation issue at his own cost and communicated throughout the process. In another 2023 review, a customer said he and an associate replaced an outside stair railing, making it safe, secure and beautiful, and left the area spotless. One 2023 review said Tyson hung up on them after ghosting them, following what they described as multiple chances to resolve an issue. Thumbtack lists it as a 2023 Top Pro and background checked.
I waited to write this review to give Tyson multiple chances to right the wrong he committed me. But after tonight's event, I couldn't anymore. Hanging up on me after ghosting me was the last straw. Tyson, a self-proclaimed "professional," hung my Anderson self-storing stormdoor UPSIDE DOWN, and in doing so, punctured the insert screen that is stored in it, rendering it useless. I call him immediately and he claims he'll come back the next day to fix it. After NO-SHOWING, I attempt to contact Tyson through text and phone calls, not a peep from him. He's avoiding me. After 1.5 weeks, I call him using a different number, goes to VM. He calls back, and when I answer, he HANGS UP ON ME. No professional would stoop to that despicable level unless he knows he messed up and won't own up to it. Heed my warning when I tell you, this CROOK lacks any shred of integrity, professionalism, or respect of a reputable handyman. He will scam you and rip you off. He should be ashamed of himself and the way he conducts his work. Do NOT hire Tyson, he can't even hang a door correctly. How could you trust him to do anything more complex. If I could give 0 stars, I would. You have been warned
Very responsive and communicative. Will be using Tytech Home Services next year to hang up our christmas lights!
Tyson is the epitome of a professional! I hired him to install my Govee lights, and during that there was a snafu. He came back within a few days and fixed the issue on his own dime and actively communicated with me throughout the entire process. I will continue to use Tytech for all my handyman needs for as long as he will accept them! Thank you again Tyson!!!
We had a great experience working with Tyson. He installed Govee permanent lights on the second floor eaves of my house. He was responsive, punctual, friendly, and attentive to detail. He was also very knowledgeable about Govee lights and how to install them which can be quirky, especially at the ends and peaks. I would 100% recommend him for your home projects!
We are so happy with Ty and his associate! They replaced our outside stair railing and they made it safe and secure and beautiful! They were kind and courteous and they left the area spotless. We highly recommend them.
