Homeowners doing bathrooms and kitchens tend to arrive with a contractor already hired and leave with the material sorted. Two things to be clear-eyed about. This is a materials showroom first — installation is coordinated through them rather than performed by an in-house flooring crew — so ask exactly who will set your tile and who warranties that labor. And the founding story does not line up: the company's site says 1992, while its BBB record and an older business listing point to a 1987 incorporation tied to United Marble Fabricators, a related Watertown stone company. The right stop if you want to touch real slabs and samples before committing, and you value someone talking you out of the wrong choice. Confirm the installer, the lead time on anything not in stock, and get the quote itemized between material and labor before you order.
