Two to three homes a day, not five or six. That is the whole argument Unmess makes for itself, and everything else about the company follows from it — the flat prices, the fact that the crew picks up the toys before vacuuming around them, the deliberately slow growth. It is a Brookline operation, launched in 2026 and now a team of six. Deborah Solomon, who founded it, describes herself as a former corporate CRM director and "a mom of three (5, 3, and a baby), Brazilian, Brookline-based" who built the service after getting quoted three different prices for the same job and then re-tidying her own house after cleaners left. The company calls itself women-owned in its own words on Angi, and Unmess trades as the operating brand of Araucaria Capital LLC, a holding company Solomon says she runs. The pricing is published rather than quoted, which is the unusual part: $135 a visit recurring, $150 one-time, $249 for a deep clean, $299 for a move-out, and a $40 one-hour "quick reset" with a two-person team. The organizing side is priced the same way, including a 3.5-hour "Get Ready for Baby" package that sets up a changing station, feeding corner and nap nook. It serves Brookline, Newton, Cambridge and a long list of Boston neighborhoods from Allston to West Roxbury, says its cleaners are background-checked, offers a free re-clean within 24 hours, and carries insurance and bonding through Hiscox. What is worth knowing is how new all of this is. The company launched this year, and the "5.0 stars on Google" it advertises on Angi is its own figure — its Angi page itself is blank, marked as new with no reviews. Nobody outside the company has published an account of a job yet. If the pitch appeals — a fixed price, no phone call, and a crew with the time to tidy first — book it knowing you are an early customer. Confirm what the free re-clean covers, and ask for the certificate of insurance the company says it will provide.
