Urbano Painting is a Dracut shop the company says opened its doors in 1989, taking on residential and commercial painting, drywall, and plastering work across the Merrimack Valley — Dracut, Tyngsborough, Methuen, Billerica, Chelmsford — and into southern New Hampshire. The thing that keeps coming up across nearly two decades of Angi reviews is price: homeowners repeatedly say Urbano beat several competing quotes while still doing thorough work. A 2023 review described the crew repairing siding, window trim, and concrete steps on a 20,000-square-foot building — more than was originally asked for. A 2026 Google review of a large Lowell repaint called it 'very extensive work with lots of detail,' and reviews across the years keep naming Joe as the point of contact, quoting jobs personally and staying responsive once work starts. The tone barely wavers from there: courteous crews, clear quotes, and jobs finished on the days promised, from a two-bedroom apartment repaint in 2018 to a two-story colonial's cedar siding and trim in 2019. Worth asking about before booking: a 2020 review on a job mixing several trim colors noted a couple of mix-ups on which color went where, though the crew went back and corrected them — a fair thing to flag on any project with a complicated color plan. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and verified against the state registry (#206486), and its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade with no published complaints. On Angi and HomeAdvisor it holds a 4.9-star average across 19 reviews, all four- or five-star. For a straightforward interior or exterior repaint, or a job that pairs painting with some drywall and trim repair, Urbano's record is long and consistent enough to lean on; for a project with a complicated color scheme, it's worth walking the plan together with Joe before the crew starts.

Hired them to paint the interior of my home. Very attentive and courteous team. Excellent communication and updates about their progress. I'm happy with their work and would recommend Urbano Painting to others.
Urbano painted our 20000 sq ft building and did an excellent job. They repaired any siding that needed to be repaired, repaired some window trim and some concrete stairs leading into the building. They have excellent customer support and did more than was asked of them. If they saw something that needed to be done they took it upon themselves to do it. Excellent work and enjoyed working with them. True professionals.
